展漏才華必招人妒 Showing Abilities draws Jealousy

井底之蛙 Frog at the bottom of well

我讀「龍欽巴全傳」，知道「龍欽巴」四方參學，獲得了「博學」的成就。如同經典說的：

I read [Longchenpa's full story]. know that [Longchenpa] seek knowledge all around,  achieved [learned] success. 

Just as the sutras state:

「華嚴經」——「如欲疾速現證圓滿佛位，須先聞法，廣聞博學，到達聞法大海的彼岸。」
Flower Adornment sutra -- If seek to swiftly affimed perfect Buddha's seat, must first hear dharma, widely hear and be learned, arriving at other shore of great sea of heard dharma.

「經莊嚴論」——「如無通達五明等學，即使是薄伽梵那樣的聖哲，也不能成為具一切智者。要讓人心悅誠服，化導群迷，自己首先須學好一切知識。」
Abhisamayalankara -- Without complete understanding of 5 Realisation and like studies, even if like saintly bhagavant, also won't become one that have all wisdoms. To let others' hearts be joyful and sincerely concede, guide & transform confused crowd, One must first learn well all knowledge.

「集經」——「常依上師及智者，能生(善巧 -kausalya) 之功德，欲證佛果依善文，功德聖主佛所說。」

Mahāsaṃnipāta Sutra -- always adhering to one's guru and wise ones, will give rise to merits of good & skilful, want to affirm Buddha's fruit need to follow good literature, spoken by Saintly Merit Buddha.

又：And:
「寶聖論」——「將世間一切事全部捨棄，至一無可捨時，最後所餘者，必是般若無疑，因此，般若最足珍貴，而聞法是般若的基礎，所以聞法又彌足珍貴。」
Treasure Saint Sermon -- Discard every matter in this sentient world, till no more to discard, final remaining is no doubt Prajna, thus, prajna is the most treasured, and hearing dharma is the foundation of prajna, thus hear dharma also fill up treasure.

依經典所言：
As per sutra's statements:

「聞法」很重要。[Hear dharma] very important.
「博學」很重要。[Widespread learning] very important.

所以「龍欽巴」向所有的大善智識學習。
Thus [longchenpa] learned from all great kalyana-mittata.

龍欽巴禮拜的師父有：

紮西仁青阿闍梨。

黎贊貢巴阿闍梨。

確班堅燦阿闍梨。

洛佐丹巴大譯師。

旬努頓珠阿闍梨。

旬努傑波阿闍梨。

噶瑪巴法王。

旺那阿闍梨。

須色仁波切。

東楚阿闍梨。

江陽巴上師。

索即佳燦上師。

綽巴仁波切。

等等等等。

龍欽巴的師父，共二十多位。
Longchenpa has a total of more than 20 gurus.

而我的學法與龍欽巴尊者的學法，不相上下。
And my learning method is pretty similar to that of venerable Longchenpa.

由於龍欽巴尊者展露了他的才華，因此，有很多學者嫉妬他。
As Venerable Longchenpa revealed his talent, thus many leaners became jealous of him.

龍欽巴尊者博學及有智慧，有人讚賞，有人懷恨。
Venerable Longchenpa's widespread learning and wisdom, there are some that praise and some harbour hatred.

他在桑普寺求學。
He study at gsang phu temple.

受到人的排斥。
Alienated by others.
他被人從一僧舍，趕到另一僧舍，共有七次之多。
He was chased out from one Sangha dormitory to another, totalling more than 7 times.
大家不喜歡他。
All don't like him.

這是：This is:
「井底之蛙，不喜大海。」
Frog at bottom of well, don't like the big sea.
「夏蟲怎能語冰。」
Summer worm unable to talk about ice.
「黑雲阻大日。」
Black cloud block great sun.

龍欽巴被誹謗，被驅逐。（被霸凌）
Lonchenpa was defamed and chased away. (being bullied)

我讀到此，哈哈哈大笑，原來上下古今都一樣，那些古井之蛙，是見不得人有成就的。
Reading up to here, I Hahaha laughed heartily, so from of old to now, those Well-bottom frogs, can't bear to see others' successes.

你如果有才華，才一露出，便招來嫉妬。
If you have talent, just reveal once, then draw jealousy.

展露才華，一定要有技巧。
Showing talent, must have technique.

展露過多，智者不取。
Show too much, not acceptable for wise ones.

我盧師尊就是遭遇到這樣的環境，太招人注目了，實在不好，不妙。

I, GM Lu, met with these situation, greatly attracted others' attention, really not good, not well.

「如何才是好？」人問。
[Then what best to do?] people asked.

我答：「少少露出，才是妙，要節制適中。」
I replied: Reveal a little, then well, must limit appropriately.

詩：Poem:
這個世界到處是小蟲 There are little worms everywhere in this world
為何被叮 Why got stung
因為你的花紅 Because you are red flower
**[When people see "red" in Chinese context, means jealous. Red eye -眼红]

聖賢此心均相同 Heart of saintly all alike
因為崇高 because being sublime
須躲在深山中隱居 need to hide in deep mountain in seclusion

永永 forever
兩極必然不相容 two polars surely won't mutually merge together.

华严经 － 离世间品第三十八 [19]

“佛子！菩萨摩诃萨以十事故，现处童子地。
Buddha's disciples! Boddhisattva Mahasattva based on 10 matters, exhibit attain Kumara's level.
何等为十？What are these 10?
所谓：So-called:
为现通达一切世间文字、算计、图书、印玺种种业故，处童子地；
To exhibit complete grasp of all sentient's written words, calculations, literary books, print & seal all types of karmic matters, attain Kumara's level;

为现通达一切世间象马、车乘、弧矢、剑戟种种业故，处童子地；
为现通达一切世间文笔、谈论、博弈、嬉戏种种事故，处童子地；
为现远离身、语、意业诸过失故，处童子地；
To exhibit distancing body, speech, mind type of karmic wrongs, attain Kumara's level;

为现入定住涅槃门，周遍十方无量世界故，处童子地；
为现其力超过一切天、龙、夜叉、乾闼婆、阿修罗、迦楼罗、紧那罗、
摩睺罗伽、释、梵、护世、人、非人等故，处童子地；
为现菩萨色相威光超过一切释、梵、护世故，处童子地；
为令耽著欲乐众生欢喜乐法故，处童子地；
为尊重正法，勤供养佛，周遍十方一切世界故，处童子地；
为现得佛加被蒙法光明故，处童子地。
是为十。

尔时，善财童子蒙善知识力，依善知识教，念善知识语，
于善知识深心爱乐，作是念言：
“因善知识，令我见佛；因善知识，令我闻法。
善知识者是我师傅，示导于我诸佛法故；
善知识者是我眼目，令我见佛如虚空故；
善知识者是我津济，令我得入诸佛如来莲华池故。”
